Birthday Party Madness!

Yesterday we had the twins' birthday celebration at Edinborough Park in Edina.  Despite the almost 3 inches of snow that fell between 9am and noon and with the threat of up to 20 inches looming over our heads, we decided to forge ahead with the party and leave it up to the attendees as to whether or not they wanted to venture out.  Everyone came.  We were so excited to see all of our friends and  family arrive safely to celebrate with us. 

Edinborough Park's Adventure Peak has to be one of the best places to take kids(Birthday or not).  They have an amazing indoor climbing structure, a gym filled with rolling, moving, scooting things and a huge bounce house.  There is so much to do there that 2 hours goes by in the blink of an eye.

We had a pizza party, cupcakes and then partied on while the kids played the day away.  We all had so much fun, especially the twins who were so tired by the time we left that they napped until 6pm!  We had left over pizza and cupcakes for dinner and the kids opened up all of their gifts.  We had two very excited kids on our hands.

Thank you to everyone who made the trek in the treacherous weather to be there celebrating with us.  We love you all and you made Benny and Breezy's day so special.

My little preemie's

Bria, you have such an amazing sense of humor and your laugh can crack anyone up.  You are a delight to have in my life.  I thank God for you each and every day because you truly are my saving Grace!  You are kind and thoughtful, you are daring and spunky and you are the sweetest girl around.  Thank you my darling baby for being who you are!  I love you Breezy and Happy Birthday.

Benny, you are my only boy and you give me such joy each day with your silly antics and your thoughtful moments.  You are always ready with a hugie or kissie for me.  You are spirited, challenging,  sweet, and you are most definitely the class clown.  I cannot wait to see you grow and change over the next year or two.  I love you so very much my sweet boy!  Happy Birthday to you :)

My diva

I love this little diva.  With all of her quirks, her humor, and her delightful personality that can have you laughing for hours.  She is also capable of things like this:

She will even tell you that it wasn't her.  She may actually be the best liar actress that I have ever met.  When she realized that there was no way out of this one(as the B's can barely write the letters of their own names much less sound out "Grace") she exclaimed in an ever so flippant tone, "Well, I was bored.  There is really nothing to do around here mom!"

Looks like she has some painting to do in her future!
