The wind has been crazy lately, and there is no better way to have fun in the wind than flying a kite. I looked outside and saw the tree's blowing and knew that it would be the perfect activity for the twins. They each got a kite from their friends Clara and Sophia for their birthday and we had yet to break them out. They were so excited. I love how easy you can hook up a kite and get it going these days. I literally hooked the string up to a loop on the front of the kite...let out some string and voila! They flew!
Bennett loved that his kite had Batman on it. Bria's had Ariel which she loved as well.
This was the last good shot I got...before the inevitable occurred: Kite. Destruction.
Easy to set up = Easy to fall apart
The kids got a good half an hour of play out of them and they had a blast the whole time. It was their first time ever flying a kite and to them it was a major success. Without further ado, we threw the kites into the trash(they twisted around one another and then ripped apart)and went indoors for a snack. Ah, a day in the life of a toddler...you gotta love it!
