Avery lost her second tooth tonight. It has been hanging by a thread for the past two days and I could not stand it anymore. I dubbed it snaggle tooth annie and I had had enough of watching it be thrust out of her mouth like a little chicklet that I told our neighbor Bret to just get it out. I was afraid that she was going to swallow it overnight because it was so loose...not to mention the fact that she looked like a hick who couldn't afford proper dental care with the thing hanging around like it was *shudder*
Bret sat her down and said he was going to count to five and then it would be done.
Before he hit five it was out with not a single "ouch" uttered and this priceless smile on her face.
Did I forget to mention that beforehand, Bret pulled his own daughter Paige's tooth out just to show Avery how easily it can be done! We later learned that Bret's oldest child lost a tooth this evening as well. I guess the tooth fairy is going to be busy tonight!
